One person was killed and 11 injured in a fire in south Mumbai's Tardeo area on Thursday.
The fire broke out on the third floor of a residential building and a part of the building collapsed.
No one was reported to be trapped in the rubble, fire brigade sources said. Nearby buildings were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
A Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation official said the cause of the fire was not known.
