A major fire broke out today in a multi-storeyed luxury hotel here, fire officials said.
The incident took place around 11.15am and more than dozen fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to douse the blaze, which has engulfed the ten-storeyed building at the Ghodbunder road locality in the city, they said.
Fire-fighting operations are on, and all the people in the building have been evacuated. There are no casualities so far.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
