Gangster Abu Salem today filed an application in the special TADA court seeking a ban on a book written by a former journalist, titled `My name is Abu Salem'. During the hearing today, when judge G A Sanap asked Salem about the book, he said he had never spoken to anyone.
"The author must have taken details from chargesheets and other evidence," Salem said. The judge observed how could such a book be written when the trial was going on.
Salem, an accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, was extradited from Portugal in November 2005.
