Nitesh Kumar, 16, a class X student of Padua High School, Mankhurd was shot in the chest at CST station in the firing. Nitesh and his father Vijay Kumar, a naval transport department officer, were to take a train to Mankhurd after dropping his mother and sister at Mumbai Central. They were on their way to Delhi to attend a marriage. This is not the first tragedy to strike the family. Ten years back, their five-year old son, was kidnapped and never found. Kumar was inconsolable at his loss and his BP has shot up after the incident. The mother and sister are on their way back after they were informed about Nitesh’s death.
