PUNE: A history sheeter was killed in an encounter with police here tonight, official sources said.
Santosh Ohol, wanted in connection with various offences, was gunned down after he opened fire at police in Kothrud area, sources said.
The exchange of fire took place when the absconding criminal was being chased by police after a tip off, sources added.
