‘I am Anna club’ will organise a series of programmes over the weekend in support of the veteran Gandhian, Anna's agitation for a strong Lokpal Bill.

The ‘I am Anna club’ will organise a series of programmes over the weekend in support of the veteran Gandhian, Anna Hazare’s agitation for a strong Lokpal Bill.

Human chains, drawing competition and a symbolic ‘sweeping’ corruption away events will be the highlights.

A human chain ‘Join your hands for Anna’ will be organised on MG Road in Camp area on Saturday. The event will start at 5 pm and participants will assemble outside Marz-O-Rin restaurant.

A symbolic ‘sweeping of corruption’ has been planned outside Fergusson College (FC) main gate at 9 am on Sunday. Citizens will do shramdan and sweep the footpaths in front of the college.

The organisers have requested citizens to carry their own brooms.
The same evening, the organisers have planned a Gandhigiri-style protest against corruption on the Parvati Hill.

Climbers would place a rose before a poster on top of the hill
depicting corruption.

An open event of drawing and painting competition will be held at Sarasbaug at 10 am on Monday.
