The 11th edition of E-Summit, a massive two-day national event organised by the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of IIT Bombay will be held this year at the IIT-B campus on January 28-29. IIT Bombay’s E-cell fosters, nurtures and encourages an entrepreneurial atmosphere for budding entrepreneurs on campus, who have an innate desire to solve problems around them. The E-cell has been organising the E-Summit since 10 years so that prospective entrepreneurs can interact with the entrepreneurial network outside India.
This year too, the Summit will have speakers from close to 7 countries and entrepreneurs from across the world. Apart from the stellar line-up of speakers, there are many more exciting events happening at the summit, that not only reinforces the spirit and zeal of entrepreneurship but also provides an enriching experience to the attendees. Events like eureka- a business model competition, the 10 minute million competition, startup expo — a platform for innovative start-ups, internship and job fair, business conclave and innovation conclave will be a part of the summit.
The summit also brings together a panel of speakers on innovation and leading Indian innovators. The eminent speakers will be delivering talks on a multitude of topics this year as the summit will have Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu, Chief Innovation Officer of DBS Neal Cross, Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant, President of HTC (South Asia and India) Faisal Siddiqui, Rediff CEO Ajit Balakrishnan, veteran journalist Rajat Sharma and UTV founder Ronnie Screwvala at the festival.
