According to the police, Ali had gone to Dubai on employment visa around a few days ago for a work and had been working in a factory. However, due to some reason, the employer sacked him and also seized his passport.

The police said, as Ali neither had a job nor the passport to return to the country, he with a help of a local agent in Dubai, created a passport with a fake identity.

"Ali landed at the International Airport on Monday night and during the immigration check, his passports and other documents were being examined when the immigration officers found that the passport is fake. The immigration officers immediately informed us and handed him to us," said a police officer from Sahar police station.

"He told us during questioning that his employer refused to return his original passport and hence he was forced to make a forged one. However, what is more shocking is how he managed to fly from Dubai on a bogus passport," the officer added.

A case has been registered against Ali under sections of Indian Penal Code for 420(cheating), 419(impersonation) and 417 (Punishment for cheating). Ali was produced in the court and has been remanded to police custody.
