The actor wants that Faisal be admitted to a nursing home

Aamir Khan wants his brother Faisal to be sent to a nursing home if he is not given Faisal’s custody. Khan moved an application before the Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court in Bandra on Monday.

Faisal had, however, told the court that he should be left on his own because he was physically and mentally fit. The court will decide on Fai-sal’s custody on February 15.

In his application, Aamir has annexed a medical report from KEM Hospital which says Faisal suffers from ‘paranoid schizophrenia’. “It is not safe for Faisal to continue living in society without proper medication and expert medical supervision as he can get violent and harm himself and others”, reads the application.

Faisal’s advocate SA Vasid said no medical report brought before the court talks of retaining Faisal as an indoor patient in a care centre or him needing continuous medication.

“Doctors from JJ Hospital has been observing him for the past four months and it has been a drug-free process,” he said.

Faisal, who appeared before the court, on Monday said he did not want to live with Aamir and that Aamir had no time for him because he was a ‘superstar’.

Aamir’s counsel Mihir Gheewala told the court that nobody but Aamir had the resources to support Faisal. At present, Faisal in Chembur.
