The twins chose to appear for their board examinations without the help of any writer.

The Cardoso twins of St Blaise High School, Andheri, who suffer from cerebral palsy, have achieved great success in their SSC board examinations. Nathan Cardoso scored 86.60 per cent, whereas Hayden Cardoso scored 73.40 per cent. The twins chose to appear for their board examinations without the help of any writer. They wanted to write their papers on their own, without any external help.

The father of the twins was present at the centre during all the papers to encourage the kids said that the twins suffered from the ailment since birth, but have been fighting it strong.

"We were expecting good results from Nathan, but Hayden's good scores have made us proud too. Both the kids are very excited and happy about their results. The twins were tutored at home, and they did study every day, which has helped them score well," said Clayton Cardoso, father of the twins. Nathan scored 94 in Mathematics and 91 in both Science and Social sciences. Hayden scored 84 in Social Sciences, 79 in Science and 71 in Mathematics.

The teachers at St Blaise High School have provided academic help and extra support to these students by installing a lift for them, as well as building separate comfortable toilets for them.

"Nathan will pursue engineering, and Hayden plans on studying in the Commerce stream," added Clayton.

Meanwhile, the Cardosos have planned a dinner celebration to celebrate the success of the twins.
