Mumbai cop travels in disabled coach, coughs up Rs500

A police constable was recently nabbed by physically-challenged commuters in a train for travelling in a coach reserved for them. He was handed over to RPF personnel in Borivli.

A police constable was recently nabbed by physically-challenged commuters in a train for travelling in a coach reserved for them. He was handed over to RPF personnel in Borivli.

KS Srikumar, Inspector, RPF office in Borivali, said, “Sushil Satam, a police constable with the Amboli police station was booked under section 155 (travelling in physically handicapped coach) Indian Railways Act. He was let free after paying a fine of Rs500.”

This is the second such incident in a week.
