A fire broke out at a Palm Spring building on Link Road in Malad, Mumbai on Monday afternoon.
The building caught fire at around 11.00 am, in which at least four floors- 5th 6th 7th and 8th have reportedly been heavily damaged.
No person is dead or injured in the incident.
"The fire equipment and the integrated fire system in the complex were not functioning properly, and therefore it took time to control the fire," said an officer.
At least 20 fire tenders have been rushed to the spot.
