Around 1,000 drums containing two lakh litres of black oil was seized during a raid in suburban Kurla today and one person was detained in connection with the case, police said.
The drums were seized during a raid carried out by the city crime branch near Kalpana theatre, they said.
A person identified as Gaffor has been detained, police said adding that four to five more persons are wanted in the case.
Police suspect the role of an inter-state gang in the oil hoarding. Further searches are being conducted, a crime branch official said.
