Former students of Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Matunga, met for an evening of nostalgia at the alumni meet on the occasion of the platinum jubilee of the college.

Former students of Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Matunga, met for an evening of nostalgia at the alumni meet on the occasion of the platinum jubilee of the college.

Principal Ajit Singh said, “It’s been such a long journey and we have come out with flying colours. Our college has shaped young minds, turning them into masters in their field. It will continue to do so for many years to come.”

The alumni meet was organised at the The Club in Andheri. Popular singer Mika Singh, young ghazal maestro Jaswinder Singh and playback singer Poonam Bhatia kept the crowd entertained throughout the evening.

Hockey players like Joacquim Carvalho, Selma D’Silva, and footballers like SS Narayan, were felicitated for their eminence in sports. In the field of culture, director Ramesh Talwar and composer Kuldeep Singh were felicitated.
