Mount Litera School International, one of city's leading IB World school is organising a unique event titled – 'Beyond Boundaries' which will give parents a chance to become a classmate of their children and learn new things together.
Scheduled on March 9, from 10 am and 1 pm, the event is open to everyone, where each person will have a chance to experience learning through innovative methods and activities like b-boying, radio jockeying, etc. Children between the age group of 4 to 14 years can participate along with their parents.
At the event, parents will get to understand how relevant extracurricular activities contribute greatly in developing a child's personality. The event has been organised with an aim to spread awareness about the new and effective teaching techniques implemented today to ensure quality learning in students. It highlights and gives first-hand experience of taking teaching outside the four walls of the classroom and its impact on the young minds.
Sharing her thoughts about the event, Mona Seervai, head of Mount Litera School International said, "Children are naturally curious and as educators we must channel their curiosity into effective learning by allowing them to inquire about everything they wish to know about. A inquiry-based teaching methodology works best coupled with sufficient extracurricular activities for holistic development and upbringing."
