A 36-year-old man identified as Bhanudas Baban Bekule of Shirur succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital on Monday. He was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a speeding motorcycle while crossing the road on the Pune-Ahmednagar road last Friday.
The airport police have arrested the motorcyclist identified as Kamar Irfan Shahanawaz of Shirole Road.
According to the police, the motorcyclist lost control and hit Bekule.
