Political parties and organisations in Vikhroli seem to have indulged in a poster war claiming credit for the approved demand of a foot over-bridge at the CST-end of Vikhroli station.
Shiv Sena claimed to have been agitating for last 10 years. “On Sunday, we were the first to protest at the station,” said Sudhakar Pednekar, deputy zone president, Sena.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) MLA Ram Kadam, who was arrested on Sunday for leading an angry mob’s agitation, said, “I am not denying efforts from others. But there is evidence on television, when everyone saw I was arrested by the police. We have made our position clear on the posters.”
MNS in its poster has actually threatened the authorities saying if they fail to start the work immediately MNS will pull them out of their office and straighten them in MNS style. The third party in this poster war is Bombay Catholic Sabha.
