Gun found in unclaimed bag
The police found a revolver, five live cartridges and a gun licence inside an unclaimed bag lying at the Pune Railway station on Friday.

Sub-inspector Ashok Randive, patrolling along with two constables at the Pune Railway station on Friday, received a call from the parking attendant, Shankar Shetake, about a suspicious blue-coloured bag found in the parking area of the station.

Randive said, “We rushed to the spot and brought the bag to the Pune Station police chowky. Initially we thought that some passenger might have forgotten the bag, so we did not call the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS). We unlocked the bag before two panchas and found men’s clothes along with a revolver, five live cartridges and a gun license belonging to one Satendrakumar Rai of Pratapgadh in Madhya Pradesh.”
