Students of the Wisdom World School held their first annual prize distribution ceremony on October 5. The school was set up last year.
Pimpri Chinchwad municipal commissioner Ashish Sharma and well-known industrialist and philanthropist Anu Aga attended the event as chief guests.
Around 120 students of the school staged plays based on themes representing the qualities of wisdom, courage, compassion and commitment.
While plays on Solomon and Sheeba were staged to represent the theme of wisdom, plays on Rani Laxmibai, Upagupta, the disciple of Buddha, and Florence Nightingale were staged exploring the theme of courage, compassion and commitment respectively. The students put up splendid performances on the occasion.
