Apparently, seeing the massive support of youngsters across the nation for Hazare, the duo decided to contribute in their own way to support the cause.

“My friend Kharade suggested that we create something patriotic. As I am into composing music for some years, I took two days off from office and we sat together one Sunday. He penned the lyrics and finally, we recorded the entire song by 4 am on Thursday,’’ said Peter, who works as an assistant manager with IBM.

The 2.36-minute song goes:

Satya ahinsa ke path par, chale hain Hindustani. Har taraf hai faily,Anna ke naam ki aandhiLikhni hai aaj humkoBharat ki nai kahani.

The duo wants to make the song the theme song for the anti-corruption campaign. “We have also spoken to India Against Corruption so that they can use our song for rallies and processions,’’ Vinod said.

The duo is also planning to upload this song on a website, soundcloud.com, where people can access it. “The campaign by the 74-year-old has united millions of Indians. This is our small contribution to the campaign to curb corruption,’’Vinod added.
