Railway ‘mega-block’ to affect local trains in Pune

The Pune division of the Central railway will be carrying out “mega-block” for apron rehabilitation work at Pune railway station for 10 days, beginning January 16, due to which a few local services will be terminated.

The Pune division of the Central railway will be carrying out “mega-block” for apron rehabilitation work at Pune railway station for 10 days, beginning January 16, due to which a few local services will be terminated. 

According to the public relation officer of central railway’s Pune division, YK Singh, the apron rehabilitation work will be carried out on Platform 6 of the Pune railway station from January 16. In these 10 days, the 99815 and 99817 Lonavala-Pune local trains will be terminated at Khadki station.

The 99821 Lonavala-Pune local train will be terminated at Shivajinagar railway station. The 99904 Pune-Talegaon local, instead of leaving Pune railway station at 3.40 pm, will leave Khadki station at 3.51 pm. The 99824 Pune-Lonavala local will leave from Khadki station at 4.36 pm. The 99830 Pune-Lonavala local train will leave Shivajinagar station at 7.11 pm.  The Kolhapur-Pune passenger train and the Satara-Pune passenger trains will be terminated at Ghorpadi railway station, instead of Pune railway station.

The Pune-Kolhapur passenger train will leave from Ghorpadi railway station at 9.24 am. The Pune-Satara passenger train also will leave from Ghorpadi station at 5.12 pm.

The Manmad-Pune passenger will be terminated at Hadapsar railway station, while the Pune-Solapur passenger train will leave from Hadapsar railway station at 8.27 am during the
mega-block.
