Even before the rumours mills could come to a rest about the alleged marital rift between Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar, there’s a new spark of controversy involving another Congress Minister that’s beginning to spread like wildfire in the Delhi grapevine.
There are reports about trouble in Sachin and Sara Pilot’s paradise, to the extent of claiming that Sara is currently camping in her father Farooq Abdullah’s house in the capital. While we’re aware that marital tiffs usually seem more serious than they are made out to be and in some instances the reconciliations seem as disruptive as the separations there is the added intrigue of a misunderstanding involving a female friend of Sachin.
For a couple who fought off parental disapproval and social mores to tie the knot, this is an unexpected twist in their fairy tale love story. While we’re hoping that this is all much ado about nothing, leaving the marital home in the middle of such rumours is hardly the best way to stop tongues from wagging.
