While actor Salman Khan went around urging people to vote for various candidates, he himself is too busy to cast his precious vote.
Perhaps if one shows support to too many people, one may end up voting for none. In the past one month, Salman Khan went around campaigning not only in the city but around the country. It looked as if he had too many friends in the field of politics and that he was spoilt for choice. But, ironically, he will not be casting his vote in favour of any of his political friends.
Khan is busy shooting in London for his own film Veer. Hence, has no time to spare for voting. But, it could be a bit of disappointment for star-stuck voters who seemed to be inspired by the charismatic Khan’s incessant campaigning for almost every party. On one hand, he bravely faced the crowd at Crawford market for pal Milind Deora, in Bandra for Priya Dutt and at Ungaon for Anu Tandon (all congress candidates). On the other, he campaigned with equal spirit and went all the way to Gurudaspur for colleague and veteran actor Vinod Khanna (BJP)
Wish he could practice what he preached or just take a leaf from the other Khans! While Aamir Khan flew back from Canada for a day just to vote, Shahrukh Khan came back from South Africa even if that meant watching his own team perform at the ongoing IPL.
