With the death of a 30-year-old woman, the Swine Flu toll in the city has gone up to 91,
health officials said today.
The woman died last night, they said. The pandemic, which has been unrelenting in the city for about four months since its outbreak in July, continues to to cause concern to the health machinery, now worried over the speculated possibility of a second wave in the winter.
According to Ashok Mehta, joint director, health, five fresh positive cases for H1N1 virus were detected yesterday and seven patients were reported to be in a critical condition in various city hospitals.
Over six lakh people in the city and surrounding areas have been screened for the virus so far, he added.
