The Special Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (TADA) court on Thursday opened the inquiry report of 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts accused Mustafa Dossa enjoying a romantic train ride with his wife. The court however have asked the police to file a detailed report about the same which should have the clarity on the point whether the lady, with whom Dossa had gone on a ride, is his wife or friend. This question arose when Dossa on Thursday informed the court that the lady was not his wife.

On Thursday, after Special TADA court Judge G A Sanap opened the inquiry report which was filed last week in connection with his trip with the woman.

DCP Praveen Padwal appeared before the court presided over by judge Govind Sanap, while questioning about the report, maintained that the lady had posted the picture along with Dossa and had claimed that she was his wife. Also in regard to one of her jail visits, she had mentioned that she was his wife. The court however had questioned the DCP about the legally admissible evidence to prove her relation with the bomb blast accused.

"What was the consideration for the escort officers for the lady found in the train during night time? Such a incharge officer of party in lieu of serious matter should see that no body should come closer to accused....there must be some consideration for such risk."

With regard to the in-charge officer of escort team, Judge questioned as to why Assistant Police Inspector Ayaz Patel was selected to lead the escort party a detailed enquiry must be done as the report reveals days before Dossa was escorted.

“As many as seven calls were exchanged between Patel and Dossa's aide Naeem Khan. A detailed information should be taken about this. How many Local Arms officers were available and why only Patel was selected and who is responsible for it?" held the court.
