Two more wadas collapsed in the city on Saturday, taking the figure to five in the last five days.The latest collapses took place in Kasba Peth and Bhavani Peth. In both the incidents, fire brigade officials rescued trapped people from the wadas.

According to the fire brigade officials, the wall of Sonekar Wada near Mote Wada (a section of Mote Wada had collapsed a couple of weeks ago) in Kasba Peth caved in. Fire brigade team rushed to the site and rescued Bharati Anil Sharma (43) and her son Hrishikesh (14). Bharati sustained minor injuries.

The second incident took place in Bhavani Peth at around 8.30 pm, where a portion of a wada collapsed on the road, burying two, two-wheelers. The fire officials rescued a man from the wada. Nobody was injured.
