Four unidentified persons allegedly looted a private firm of Rs 44 lakh in Budhwar peth area in the heart of the city today, police said.
The accused entered the firm office, located in front of the famous Dagdusheth Halwai Ganesh temple, and decamped with cash in the locker, at gun point after tying hands of the employees, they said.
The culprits later latched the door from outside before fleeing the scene, they added.
Transactions of the firm reportedly involved in money transfer business is also being investigated.
