Arrested:
Sadhvi Pragya Singh Chandrapalsingh Thakur alias Purnachetanand Giri, a native of Indore, had recently shifted to Surat. The LML Freedom motorcycle, on which the bomb was planted at Malegaon allegedly, belonged to Pragya. She was arrested on September 24.

Shivnarayan Kalsangra, a native of Indore is expert from electrical and mechanical field. He was arrested on September 24, on charges of being involved in the blast conspiracy.

Shyam Bhavarlal Sahu, a native of Indore, runs a mobile shop. He was arrested on September 24, on charges of being involved in the blast conspiracy.

Sameer Kulkarni, an ex-member of ABVP and now affiliated with a right wing Hindu organisation known as Abhinav Bharat. Originally from Pune, Kulkarni had recently shifted his base to Indore. According to ATS sources, he is believed to be the 'main brain’ behind the blast. He was arrested on October 28.

Retired Major Ramesh Upadhyay, a resident of Pune, he is believed to be involved in the conspiracy meeting held between Kulkarni and others allegedly involved in the blast. Upadhyay was believed to be the conduit between Kulkarni and the serving army men, for the guidance and procurement of explosives, police sources claimed. He was arrested on October 28.

Detained:
Lieutenant Colonel Srikant Prasad Purohit. He was stationed at the Army Education Corps Training College and Centre in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, when he was picked up by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad for questioning on October 31.

His name was cropped up during the interrogations of the arrested suspects. Police sources claim that, he had given training to the executors of the blasts about the use of arms and explosives. He is not yet arrested in the case.

Shailesh S Raikar, administrator of the Bhonsla Military School, Nashik and retired Colonel was detained by the police for his suspected involvement in the blast. He was picked up for questioning on November 1. He is not yet arrested in the case.

Ramesh Gaidhane, who earlier worked with the military intelligence, was also working at the Bhonsla Military School was also picked up by the ATS for questioning on November 1. He is not yet arrested in the case.

Ashok Ahuja, a member of Abhinav Bharat was picked up by the ATS from Jabalpur on November 2. He is believed to be close of Sameer Kulkarni. He is not yet arrested in the case.

Wanted:
Ramji Kalsangra, he is native of Indore and is wanted by the ATS. Kalsangra, brother of Shivnarayan, was allegedly present in Malegaon on September 29, and is believed to have planted the bomb at Bhikku Chowk, police sources claimed.

Mayaram Jaswani, he is native of Jabalpur and is believed to be close to Sameer Kulkarni. The ATS is on the lookout for Jaswani. His role in the blast is not clear.
