In important news for the central government employees, the government has changed the Travel Allowance (TA) claim rule. Central government employees are not required to submit their boarding pass or ticket while claiming their TA. This comes as a huge relief for a government employee who has lost his Boarding Pass or ticket. Now, he or she will only have to submit a self-declaration form informing that he has travelled during a particular period. Earlier, Boarding Pass and travel tickets were necessary to claim one's TA.
