If you fail to link your PAN card with the Aadhaar number by March 31, 2021, then the PAN will become inoperative from April 1, 2021.

The deadline to link your PAN card with Aadhaar card is ending on March 31 (Wednesday) and you might have to pay a late fee if you fail to link the PAN and Aadhaar card before the end of the deadline.

It is to be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre had extended the deadline to link PAN Card with Aadhaar to March 31, 2021, from the previous deadline of June 30, 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
