PM Kisan Scheme 15th Installment: The Indian government continuously introduces various schemes catering to different segments of the population, with special focus on farmers. One such initiative is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Scheme, tailored specifically for underprivileged farmers. The scheme has already disbursed 14 installments of Rs. 2,000 each, and the 15th installment is expected between November and December. However, official confirmation is awaited for the exact release date.
Recently, on July 27, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sanctioned the funds for the 14th installment, transferring a total of Rs. 17,000 crore to the bank accounts of 8.5 crore farmers. Applications for the 15th installment are now open. Notably, the PM-Kisan scheme entails the annual transfer of Rs. 6,000 to farmers' accounts in three installments.
To avail the benefits of the PM-Kisan Scheme, follow these steps:
Eligibility Criteria:
• The scheme is exclusively for impoverished farmers.
• Individuals with government jobs or income tax obligations are ineligible.
• Only one family member can benefit from the scheme.
• Members of EPFO or similar organizations are not eligible.
• If the beneficiary passes away, their family will not receive the scheme's benefits.
Application Process:
1. Visit the official PM-Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Navigate to the "Farmer Corner" section.
3. Select "New Farmer Registration."
4. Choose whether you reside in a city or village.
5. Provide your Aadhaar number, mobile number, and select your state. Obtain the OTP.
6. After entering the OTP, click on "Proceed Registration."
7. Fill in all the requested personal details, including name, state, district, bank, and Aadhaar information.
8. Submit the application after Aadhaar authentication.
9. Enter farming-related information as prompted.
10. Save your entries by clicking the "Save" button.
11. Upon completion, a message confirming your application's submission will appear.
