Bank Karmachari Sangh (BKS) general secretary and administrator on the Rupee Cooperative Bank Limited Vidyadhar Anaskar said that he would approach cooperatives’ commissioner for encashment of leaves of Rupee Bank staff, who want to resign.

He was speaking after a meeting of the bank employees organised by BKS.

Rupee Bank is under moratorium from the Reserve Bank of India, which has appointed administrators on it. Saraswat Cooperative Bank has come forward to merge the bank with it. BKS organised a meeting of the employees for hearing the suggestions from the employees.

Anaskar told media persons that a few employees had pointed out that there is no provision for leave encashment for those who want to resign at this stage. He said if this was the case he would immediately talk to cooperatives’ commissioner and get this sanctioned.
