If Desai and Shetty had won, they would've played their compatriots Sharath Kamal and G Sathiyan in the final. • In TT, Sharath Kamal and Sathiyan are playing in the men's double semifinal against Singapore. They have lost the first game. Sathiyan lost in singles quarters earlier today. Can he overcome that disappointment and come back strongly.

  • Some great rearguard fight by Pooja. She managed to cut down the lead to 5-6, but finally the Nigerian Odunayo Adekuoroye seals the bout 7-5. India made an official protest over a point, but it was turned down. So Pooja had to settle for silver, but she can definitely hold her head up in pride as she lost to an extremely accomplished wrestler, who just won her second CWG gold in a row.

  • Nice defensive play from the Nigerian wrestler who has a comfortable lead now. It looks increasingly tough for Pooja now.

  • Another boxer goes through to the final. Manish Kaushik edges past Northern Island's James McGivern in a split verdict in the 60 kg-semifinal. It has been a clean slate for boxers on Friday.
