Both teams started slowly, but the opener from Pogba opened up the game. Tarore has been brilliant on the ball. More possession and pass accuracy for Ajax, but United have put on a solid defensive performance.

16' United are taking their free-kicks deep. Blind passes onto Rashford who puts in a cross to be headed away as far as Pogba, who puts in a cross far away from Fellaini.

18' GOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!! POGBA gets his name on the score-sheet. Ander Herrera cuts back to Fellaini, who squares it to Pogba, who fires a shot. The shot takes a massive DEFLECTION of Sanchez and bulges into the net.

14' Traore is causing some problems on the left. A smart one-two between Traore and Younes, before Traore fires a shot at goal, but Romero equal to the task. First shot on goal for Ajax.
