Ace shooter Tejaswini Sawant felicitated on arrival in Pune
Sawant, who arrived in the city from Mumbai, was honoured at Balewadi sports complex, about 20km from Pune, where she had practiced rifle shooting to prepare for the event.
Ace shooter Tejaswini Sawant, who won the gold medal at Munich World Championship, was today felicitated on behalf of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).Sawant, who arrived in the city from Mumbai, was honoured at Balewadi sports complex, about 20km from Pune, where she had practiced rifle shooting to prepare for the event."I benefited a lot from my practise at the Balewadi shooting range", she said replying to the felicitation.Sawant was handed over a cheque for Rs1 lakh by Pune mayor Mohansingh Rajpal on the occasion.
