Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas believes that manager Arsene Wenger is ‘more focused than ever’ to help the club end their five-year trophy drought.
Arsenal was booed off the pitch after losing their Premier League game against Newcastle United last weekend.
However, when asked if he thought that Wenger is still committed as he always has been to Arsenal, Fabregas said, "Yes, yes, of this I’m sure. I can guarantee you that, 100%."
"I have been here for seven years, I’m now in my eighth year so I know him very well and I can tell you he is more focused than ever,” the Sun quoted Fabregas, as saying.
"He wants to win and he wants to prove that this young team can be winners, can be successful. That’s his dream and he’s working very hard for it," he added.
Arsenal is currently third in the league points-table behind reigning champions Chelsea and Manchester United.
