India's premier spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was recently subject to the ire of Mahendra Singh Dhoni fans after he omitted MSD from his 'Thank you' speech for getting two ICC awards. People started to speculate whether everything was alight between the two. But the off-spinner cleared the air about the issue and made it obvious that he has no hard feelings for Dhoni.

Ashwin also took to Twitter to send out a funny yet strict message to users who keep tagging his wife, Prithi Narayanan in their tweets. "One small request, please do not tag my wife in all your funny tweets. She has better things to look after, although I am over it," read Ashwin's tweet.

Incidentally, MSD fans were left fuming after Ashwin said, "There are a lot of people to thank for this wonderful achievement I have made. It has been a great couple of years but this year has been even more special. What is very noticeable is the way I have bowled and batted and the way I have gone about doing my business. What is more important, as far as I am concerned, is the number of people who have gone behind my success."

"I'd like to dedicate this award to my family. I'd like to thank ICC and most importantly my team-mates. I'd also like to thank the support staff for our success. We've had a great transition ever since Mahendra Singh Dhoni hung up his boots. A young captain has taken over, we fell on the right track, and we now have a new bunch of boys," he added.

The fact that Ashwin still regards Dhoni as someone whom he holds in high regard became clear when he retweeted a fan's post which read, "@msdhoni ne ye matter notice bhi ni kiya hoga bt ye social media na do bhaiyon ko bhi dhushman bnade @ashwinravi99 take a chill pill." (Most probably Dhoni hasn't even noticed this but people on social media have turned two brothers into enemies).
