The Super Bowl has just ended and while the 'Big Game' wasn't much of a contest this year, but the splashy commercials surely grabbed everyone's attention. The Super Bowl also saw a lot happen during the half time thanks to The Weekend.
Fans were tweeting about each and everything, however, one particular tweet grabbed the attention of Guardians of the Galaxy actor Batista. The two-time WWE Champion and John Cena both appeared in ads during Super Bowl.
Soon after seeing it, a fan put up a tweet featuring pictures of the duo from their respective commercials and stated that he would love to see the duo in a movie with.
Batista responded to the fan and hinted with his tweet that he doesn't share the same sentiment.
From WWE to Big screen:
Batista and John Cena both made their way to WWE's main roster in the spring of 2002. They joined the league of Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, and Shelton Benjamin.
After their WWE stints - which is not yet over - Cena and Batista made successful careers in Hollywood as well.
As for the Super Bowl clash, Tampa Bay captured a record-extending seventh championship on Sunday, helming the underdog Buccaneers to a 31-9 rout against Kansas City Chiefs.
The Super Bowl Half-time Show is traditionally built on grand gestures and eye-popping spectacle. This year Canadian R&B star The Weeknd was the interval act and - for the first time in the game's 55-year history - he was forced to perform from the stands, rather than the pitch due to strict coronavirus protocols.
