According to reports, his rehab is going well, and he wants to play in the 2012 qualifier against Bulgaria on September 3 and against Switzerland four days later.

“David loves playing for England and is optimistic he’ll be ready for the qualifiers in September,” The Sun quoted a source close to Beckham, as saying.
