Brijesh Patel, Rupal Patel show their class again

Having won the high-handicap category at the Taega Matchplay earlier in August, the two Patels were in top gear at the Kensville Golf & Country Club monthly medal round.

For the second time this month, Brijesh Patel and Rupal Patel showed their golfing skills to bag the top honours. Having won the high-handicap category at the Taega Matchplay earlier in August, the two Patels were in top gear at the Kensville Golf & Country Club monthly medal round.

The one-day affair was played in stableford format over 18 holes. The men's division saw Brijesh Patel and Munish Patell battling it out for the title. Brijesh (HC 22) scored 41 stableford points against Munish's (HC13) 39.

Rupal Patel also continued her winning streak while in the juniors section, Varun Parikh was declared winner as he ended with 33 points.

On a cloudy Saturday morning, 35 golfers teed off at the Kensville Golf & Country Club. The conditions were perfect for a day of golf and the golfers made most of the good conditions. The participants comprised 13-year-olds to men in their 70s.
