Cologne defender Youssef Mohamad was suspended for three league games on Tuesday after being sent off with a straight red card in the second minute of their season opener against Kaiserslautern on Saturday.  The Lebanese defender was red carded following a hard tackle on Erwin Hoffer 87 seconds into the game that newly promoted Kaiserslautern won 3-1.  The 30-year-old has 24 hours to lodge an appeal, the German soccer federation said.
