NEW DELHI: After conducting the group encounter between Spain and Tunisia, All India Football Federation President Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi has been appointed match commissioner for the game between Australia and Croatia to be played in Stuttgart on Thursday.
The Spain-Tunisia match on June 19 was the first instance when an Indian was appointed to that post in a FIFA World Cup.
A match commissioner is FIFA's official representative in the match and his job is to ensure that the match is properly organised and run smoothly.
He should be alert to all incidents and comments surrounding the match.
