Pakistan leg-spinner Danish Kaneria, who claimed five wickets in the second innings of the Sydney Test against Australia, has become the first Pakistan spinner to reach the milestone of 250 wickets in Test cricket.Kaneria, who has continued the tradition of great Pakistani leg-spin bowlers and possesses a very well disguised googly, performed the feat of taking five wickets in an innings for the 15th time, while he has taken ten wickets in a match twice in his 57-Test career, The Daily Times reports. The 30-year-old is now Pakistan’s highest wicket-taking spinner followed by former leg-spinner Abdul Qadir, who took 236 wickets in 67 Tests. He had made his international debut in 2000 against England at Faisalabad, and is fourth on the list of most Test wickets over all, only behind the greats Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Imran Khan.
