NEW DELHI: Real estate major DLF Ltd will sponsor the Tri-Series cricket tournament involving India, Australia and West Indies to be held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during September 12-24, 2006.
This is the second time DLF is sponsoring an international cricket tournament as it had earlier sponsored the Abu Dhabi tournament in April this year, the company said.
"Given our widespread operations in India, this will help build awareness about DLF amongst the large number of cricket fans," DLF Executive Director Rajiv Talwar said while announcing the tri-series sponsorship.
Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid unveiled the DLF Tri Series Trophy on Sunday in Mumbai and appreciated the company's gesture to support the game, it said. NN
