England football fans are crying foul after it emerged that the German team is already using the ball designed for next year’s World Cup in South Africa.

There are fears that Germany could have gained a crucial advantage in getting used to the new ball, which Adidas claims is 20 per cent more accurate.

“Everyone should be treated the same. Free-kick takers and goalies would be particularly keen on getting the ball,” The Sun quoted a fan, as saying.

Meanwhile, Adidas has admitted that practice with the new ball could be beneficial.

“There are advancements in this ball and the amount of practice you have with it might give you an edge,” Adidas said.

The German team’s use of the official ball, named Jabulani- Zulu for “to celebrate”, is bound to irritate Three Lions manager Fabio Capello.

“Fabio knows small things can make a big difference at international level,” an England source said.
