Chelsea physiotherapist Eva Carneiro has left the club and might consider legal action, following the incident involving rude and inappropriate comments made by club manager Jose towards Eva Carneiro and head physiotherapist Jon Fearn.
The incident on August 8 occurred on Chelsea's first English Premier League match of the season against Swansea, when Eva Carneiro along with fellow physiotherapist Jon Fearn rushed to the pitch to treat injured Eden Hazard, which reduced Chelsea to 9 men (Chelsea goal-keeper Thibaut Courtois was shown a red card on the 52nd minute). Chelsea ended the match with a 2-2 draw.
Angry Mourinho blasted at his medical staff that they were "impulsive and naive" and did not "understand the game". Also, it's alleged that Jose Mourinho abused Eva Carneiro when she returned to the sidelines after treating Eden Hazard.
.
Following the tussle with Mourinho, Carneiro wasn't a part of Chelsea's medical staff and was allegedly no longer allowed to attend matches or training sessions. Eva Carneiro was supposed to resume her duties with the club last Friday, but she did not turn up.
The English Football Association are now looking into this matter involving abusive language used towards Carneiro. If proved guilty of abusing, Jose Mourinho could face a five match ban.
