Euro 2016 final: Twitter reacts to Ronaldo's tragic injury and goes crazy over Ronaldo's moth!

Sometimes life, like sports can be remarkably tragic. Cristiano Ronaldo, the man who thought it was finally his night to win the final for Portugal was met with a strong challenge from Dimitri Payet who took the ball but caught Ronaldo’s knee in the follow through.

There were strong boos as Ronaldo was treated and he came back on the field but it was too much for the Portuguese captain. He tried to walk it off, and Ronaldo might have an indomitable will but as they say – the spirit was willing but the flesh was weak. Some even claimed that Payet ought to have got a red card for that follow through, but what all that matters is the fact that Ronaldo is going to miss the rest of the final.
