England boss Fabio Capello was snubbed by two players who were selected in his new-look Three Lions squad.Blackburn keeper Paul Robinson, 30, left Capello red-faced when he announced his retirement from international football within hours of his recall. And Manchester United defender Wes Brown swiftly followed him to tell Capello of his decision after not featuring in Sunday's Community Shield match at Wembley.Neither player made the provisional 30-man World Cup party but were called up for Wednesday's friendly against Hungary, The Sun reports. Robinson said, "Only now have I been able to make this decision as previously I haven't been in contention for selection. I don't see myself as a No 3 or 4 keeper and find that role very frustrating. I feel it in the best interests of myself and my club that I concentrate on club football."Brown suffered a series of injury problems last season so was not considered fit enough to go to South Africa.
