CUTTACK: Sourav Ganguly has been ruled fit to take part in the second cricket one-dayer against West Indies here on Wednesday with the left-hander having recovered from a calf strain.
Ganguly starred in the series-opener at Nagpur on Sunday with a scintillating 98 but was unable to take the field due to cramps.
"He is OK now. He will play the second match of the series," Indian team's media manager Rajan Nair said.
"He had some medication and is now feeling better," Nair said.
India won the first match of the four-game series by 14 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the four-match series.
