Former France manager Henri Michel was fired by an African club for a second time this year on Monday after he was dismissed by Egypt's Zamalek following a weekend defeat, the club said.
Michel, who was sacked in April by South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns after a six month spell, has left the Cairo club just 10 matches into the new season after Sunday's 2-0 loss to Police Union.
It was a fourth defeat for the Cairo giants under Michel, leaving Zamalek 15 points behind leaders Al Ahli. Michel was manager of France when they finished third at the 1986 World Cup finals but has spent the last decade working in Africa and the Middle East.
